Star Victoria graduated Cum Laude from Georgia State University. She was awarded the prestigious Mary Pickford scholarship to attend USC to  obtain her MFA in Film and Television Production.

Star recently directed her 1st feature film for Lifetime and TD Jakes called Lust starring Keri Hilson and Tank.

in 2020, Star's USC Thesis film La Ruta won a Directors Guild of America Jury Award for Best Student Film Directed by a Woman from the West Coast, a Gold Telly Award, Gold Davey Award, Silver Young Directors Award, USC's First Look Industry award for Best Social Change film as well as the Los Angeles Cinematography award for Best Student Film and Best Actress. It has screened at several festivals around the world including Dances With Film, American Black Film Festival in the Emerging Directors category, LA Shorts, MiCignero in Mexico and L’Hospitalet De  Llbregat International Film Festival in Barcelona Spain.

Star is also an invaluable 1st Assistant Director for many productions

including the USC thesis film Lalo's House, which won silver in the Student Academy awards in 2018.

Star is a mentee of Robert Townsend, Nina Yang Bongiovi, Cindy Cowan, and the late John Singleton.

Star Victoria is also a member of Women In Film, Alliance of Women Directors and Film Independent.
